Partnered with FEMA and other federal agencies, as well as the Puerto Rico Department of Health, to deliver urgent public health education on post-hurricane safety, disease prevention, recovery, hygiene, and health protection. This collaboration ensured culturally appropriate and accessible communication through the development and distribution of bilingual educational materials in both print and digital formats.

At the start of the COVID-19 response, I supported the Global Migration Health team in developing key messages and guidance for travelers entering the United States, and translated those messages into clear communication materials displayed at international airports nationwide.

Partnered with the Crow Nation’s health department to develop culturally relevant digital and print communications materials, including a community outreach booklet designed to support local health eff orts and promote community well-being.
Health Communication Manager | Vaccine Task Force Communications (COVID-19)
Served as Communications Co-Lead for the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force, managing a team of seven to develop and execute timely, accurate public health messaging across web, social media, and media relations platforms while overseeing the creation and multilingual adaptation of vaccine communication materials in coordination with CDC’s Multilingual Services to translate critical content into multiple languages for broader reach and accessibility.
